Dara Khoeum

Dara is an associate lawyer at MFC Lawyers, where he adeptly guides clients through the intricacies of family law, including divorce, parenting arrangements, support, and property division. With a fervent commitment to his clients’ interests, Dara is a steadfast advocate both in negotiations and in court.
Dara holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School, where he also honed his skills through the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop, the Oral Advocacy Workshop, and the Family Law Skills and Practice Program. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Bond University and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from the University of Toronto.
With a career dedicated to family law, Dara has amassed valuable experience at several distinguished Ontario law firms before joining MFC Lawyers. He is fluent in English and conversationally in Khmer.
Dara’s dedication extends beyond his practice; he actively contributes to the legal community. He serves as a Member-at-Large for the Family Law Practice Group at the Advocates’ Society, a national organization committed to providing training and education programs for lawyers. He is also on the Mentorship Committee for the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL), fostering growth and guidance for emerging legal professionals.
