Jennifer Eensild BA, JD
Jennifer is an associate lawyer at MFC Law Professional Corporation. Born and raised in Guelph, Ontario, she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, Trinity College, and her law degree from the University of Windsor. She trained at a full-service firm in the Mississauga area while focusing on family law, giving her a broad knowledge base on which to build her family law practise.
Jennifer’s clients benefit from her flexible approach. She provides innovative and individualized solutions with the goal of reducing legal costs and settling matters in a timely fashion. However, she recognizes that settlement is not always possible. Though she is skilled in negotiation and collaboration, Jennifer is a litigator at heart. When necessary, Jennifer will not hesitate to commence litigation. She appears regularly in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Her litigation background includes matters of international jurisdiction, high conflict custody and access, child and spousal support, substance abuse, and domestic violence. She has successfully represented clients in disputes regarding property, where equitable distribution of assets is a key concern.
While at Windsor Law, Jennifer focused her studies in family law and trial litigation. She interned at the Ontario Court of Justice in the family law courts and, along with her teammates, was awarded Second Best Overall Team at the Walsh Family Law Moot in her final year.
